Sydney International Open Chess Tournament 2010
The Sydney International Open (SIO) for 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 was organised by Australian Chess Enterprises on behalf of the Parramatta RSL Club Chess Club. After four years, Brian Jones and his family are now taking a well-earned break from organising chess tournaments, and Parramatta RSL Chess Club will endeavour to find new sponsors and a new team for 2011 onwards. Brian Jones thanks all club members, sponsors, supporters and players who have contributed to the success of the event over the past four years. The Parramatta Chess Festival and SIO has been run as a not-for-profit venture and the financial results are available to the public at main_open.pdf. Below are the links to the results (chess-results.com links) and games (all 2600 games in PGN format from 4 SIO/SIC events 2007-2010).
